Description of the Red Barn Theatre's company and productions:

A professional, non-equity company that is in its 42nd season.  The company is in residence for 11 weeks.  The theatre presents 5 performances a week, for a total of 52 performances per summer.  There are 4 different productions--3 of contemporary comedy and drama for 2 weeks each and then a musical that runs for 3 weeks.  The season runs from June 2 - August 15, 2010.

Description of the Red Barn Theatre facility:

The facility is a converted 1908 barn that is air-conditioned and has proscenium thrust staging; the seating capacity is 200.  There is a large on-grounds scenic studio and costume shop.  The facility has a computerized lighting system and 5 stage monitors throughout the backstage area.  Audience-member amenities include a state-of-the-art assisted listening device system, a handicap ramp, air conditioning, a refreshment stand, and free parking.
