frequent layovers in Paris. Bernard keeps “one up, one down and one
pending” until unexpected schedule changes bring all three to Bernard’s
apartment at the same time. Meet an old
friend, Robert Castin, who happens by, and Bertha,
Bernard’s spirited housekeeper—then know that something is about to crash. A playwright who knows how to keep America laughing—A

It is

ladies plan a talent show. Such diverse
women are a challenge to each other on this inspiring journey filled with
laughs, loss, and lots of love. “These
six women, often through guile, open defiance, or other means, find ways to
empower themselves and effect change in their lives. And as they do so, you can’t help but be
taken in!”—A! Magazine
for the Arts. This play
premiered at the renowned Barter Theatre of Abington, Virginia, in June of
2009.
