Auditioning for the Red Barn Summer Theatre:

The Red Barn Summer Theatre is fully cast for our 57th season. We appreciate your interest in being a part of the Red Barn. If you'd like to submit an audition for future consideration, please follow the instructions below. Casting for our 2026 season will begin after our season announcement in January.

Please send your updated resume, current headshot, a short comedic and dramatic monologue, and two contrasting song selections to Artistic Director Michael Taylor's company email address. If available, please include your dance and/or acting reel in your audition information. Questions about submitting audition materials can also be directed to Michael at his company email address.

Description of the Red Barn Summer Theatre's company and productions: 

​

The Red Barn Summer Theatre is a professional, non-equity company in its 57th season. The company is in residence for 8 weeks, presenting five performances a week, for a total of 30 performances per summer. There are three different productions - two of contemporary comedy and drama for two weeks each, and then a musical that runs for ten days.

Description of the Red Barn Summer Theatre's space:

​

Our theatre is a converted 1908 cattle barn transformed into an intimate 169-seat proscenium thrust stage. In recent years, the space has added air conditioning, an outdoor performance space, beer and wine sales (Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays), an ADA-accessible entrance, and a redesigned dressing room for our company members. Audience-member amenities include an assisted listening device loop system, a refreshment stand, beer and wine sales, and free parking!
