You met Michael and Luke in our first Meet the Company, so now it’s time to meet two more
returning veterans of the Red Barn stage.
If you’ve attended the Red Barn anytime in the past few years, then you’ll likely remember KIARA WOOD from her many roles including Susie in The Marvelous Wonderettes, Lucy in Bright Star and Georgia in Curtains! Last season Kiara was very well received in the physical role of Miss Skillon, the gossipy, tee-totaling neighbor in See How They Run. Born and raised in Frankfort, Indiana, she now teaches choir at Frankfort High School. Returning for her 8th season at the Barn, Kiara is looking forward to choreographing her fourth Barn musical, Mel Brooks Young Frankenstein.
Returning to the Red Barn for his third consecutive season is XANDER HAAN, a young
veteran of more than 35 stage productions. Last season at the Barn Xander played Bernard in Boeing Boeing and Lionel Toop in See How They Run. He is currently preparing for a trip to Chicago where he will play the role of Aaron Zadok in the new play Entropics. We
congratulate Xander on his graduation from Purdue University where he was a double major
in Theatre Acting and Film Production.
We welcome these two talented, hard-working performers back to the Barn. The time is flying by—tickets are available on-line, the grounds are being beautified, pre-show musicians are booked, the Cellar is stocking great new wines, the posters are being printed and now we’re only a couple weeks away from the 2024 Company meeting at the Red Barn Summer Theatre for the first time.
