The Red Barn Cellar is pleased to announce a new partnership with Hopwood Cellars Winery of Zionsville. Due to the unfortunate closing of Sheridan’s Blackhawk Winery, the Cellar staff really wanted to continue to feature a small local business and were delighted to discover this family winery just south of us on highway 421.
Hopwood Cellars Winery has been producing delicious, award-winning wines since 1994. Owner Ron Hopwood and his staff searches for the best local ingredients from Indiana, Ohio and Michigan and they produce everything on their 16 acre vineyard. Ron says his “love and dedication to wine comes through in every bottle” he produces.
Our volunteer “Barntenders” made the drive to Zionsville and had a very nice afternoon tasting the Hopwood wines, enjoying a charcuterie board and chatting with Ron.

Next time you see the sun shining through the gray and feel like a short drive, stop by the Hopwood Cellars store on Cedar Street in downtown Zionsville. Or hang on until summer and come out and join us before the show with a glass of Hopwood Cellars wine on the lawn. The Red Barn Cellar will feature three wines from Hopwood this year, plus a unique fourth wine that will change each show and be themed to each of our productions.
